Emergency LED Lighting
Reliable emergency LED lighting that keeps escape routes, exits and open areas safely illuminated when the mains supply fails.
Emergency lighting is a life-safety system — it must operate instantly and reliably when normal lighting fails, guiding occupants safely out of the building. Our emergency range includes maintained and non-maintained bulkheads, recessed escape-route downlights, illuminated exit signs and twin-spot floodlights, all engineered to meet BS 5266-1 and BS EN 1838 requirements for escape routes, open (anti-panic) areas and high-risk task locations.
Every luminaire is available with integral 3-hour battery backup in maintained, non-maintained or combined operation, with self-test and DALI-monitored variants that automate statutory function and duration testing — eliminating manual test regimes and providing a full audit trail for the responsible person. Central battery and addressable system compatibility is available for larger estates.
Our technical team supports fire engineers, M&E consultants and facilities managers with emergency lighting designs that achieve the required 1 lux escape-route and 0.5 lux open-area illuminance levels, including spacing tables, photometric data and compliance documentation for building control sign-off.
